Meet Joanna Sandoval

A portrait of a woman with shoulder-length brown hair, wearing a pink top, black blazer, and a silver necklace with a heart-shaped pendant, smiling against a gray background.

Joanna is a mom, community leader and experienced business specialist in the government administration industry.  She is a first-generation college graduate, paving the way for her younger cousins. Throughout Joanna’s life she has always taken on leadership roles and taken advantage of opportunities to pull her family out of financial struggle and dedicated herself to paying it forward and giving back to her community through volunteerism with organizations such as Sam Sandos Gift Baskets program, A precious child, Daniels Fund, Volunteers of America, and Food Bank of the Rockies.

Joanna is running for City council to make sure we have a strong voice for our families. The city council needs someone that can fight for our community needs and priorities.

As a Daniels Fund Scholar, Joanna knows that a strong work ethic coupled with a touch of community support can make all the difference in someone’s life. Joanna continues to give back and is involved locally through:

  • Sam Sandos Gift Baskets Program

  • A Precious Child

  • Daniels Fund

  • Volunteers of America

  • Food Bank of the Rockies

  • Potomac Farms Metro District Board
